Speed of Sound

The jazz fusion group Speed of Sound was formed in the 1980s and has developed into one of the most popular and influential bands in the field. The group receives national airplay from four previous CDs and is currently in the studio working on the fifth. "Without the musicianship and talent of Speed of Sound, there would be no Israel Bissell," said Bissell's songwriter Chuck Preble.
